A review of the history of the advent of Islam in Iran and how Iranians converted to the Ahl al-Bayt School of Thought during the Sassanid (212 - 652 AD), Abbasid (750 - 1258 AD), Buyid (934 - 1062 AD) and Ilkhanate (1256 - 1335 AD) dynasties based on the introduction of Khavaran Nameh, an epic account of the life of the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (AS) written by Ibn Hossam Khosefi and illustrated by Farhad, a student of Pir Ahmad Baghshamali, a famous Iranian painter.
